Heaven, graduated!!

I can hardly believe I’m writing these words, but my beautiful daughter, Heaven, has officially graduated high school.

As a mom, there are moments that you know will change you forever. Watching Heaven walk across that stage was one of them. It felt like I was watching every chapter of her life flash before my eyes—from her first steps and first day of school to late-night homework sessions, school events, and all the little moments in between that make up motherhood.

People always tell you that time flies, but you don’t truly understand it until you’re sitting in a graduation ceremony wondering where all the years went.

I am incredibly proud of Heaven. Not just because she graduated, but because of the young woman she has become. She is intelligent, kind, determined, and focused on her future. As she prepares to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist and majoring in biology, I know she has an exciting future ahead of her.

As a career mom, balancing work, motherhood, graduate school, sports schedules, and everyday life has not always been easy. There were sacrifices, long days, and moments when I questioned whether I was doing enough. But seeing my daughter reach this milestone reminds me that every effort, every prayer, and every ounce of love was worth it.

This graduation feels bittersweet. I’m celebrating her accomplishments while also realizing that another chapter is beginning. Soon she’ll be spreading her wings even further, and while my heart isn’t quite ready for that, I know that’s exactly what I’ve been preparing her to do all along.

Heaven, if you ever read this, know that being your mother has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I am proud of you beyond words. Continue to trust God, work hard, stay humble, and never forget how capable you are.

The world is waiting for you, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish.

Congratulations, Heaven. Mom loves you more than you’ll ever know.
